Teachers Open Forum: Practicing Tapas (Self-Discipline/Grit)

A Community Conversation on the Transformative Power of the Inner Fire

Tapas is the heat that transforms lead into gold. In this session, we look at discipline not as a punishment, but as a devoted "burning off" of the habits that hold us back. We’ll explore the fine line between healthy effort and burnout, and how to keep our inner fire steady without letting it consume us.

Questions to Contemplate:

Effort vs. Force: How do we discern the difference between the "sacred heat" of growth and the "frenetic heat" of overworking?

Consistency in Chaos: What does Tapas look like when life feels overwhelming? How do we maintain a "minimum viable practice" to keep the pilot light on?

The Alchemical Teacher: How has a period of friction or difficulty in your life actually served to refine your voice and wisdom as a teacher?
